Our location on the northern shore of Lake Äkäslompolo, in the village of the seven fells, is second to none. From the hotel grounds you can see the lake, with the village on the opposite shore and the surrounding fells.

Bistro will open on 5.9. at 5 pm and open until 19.9.

More than a hotel

At Ylläshumina you can stay in hotel rooms and holiday apartments. All our accommodation is cosy, comfortable and functional for your holiday. Nature, nearby forests and fells, as well as activities, are within easy reach. Thanks to the hotel's peaceful location, you also enjoy restful nights.
Standard Rooms
In the immediate vicinity of the main building there are eight log buildings belonging to the hotel, each with four hotel rooms. Two rooms share a common entrance vestibule. The rooms are well suited for a holiday for 2–4 people. The hotel grounds have a smoke sauna and outdoor hot tub.
Superior Rooms
The high-quality and spacious two-person Superior rooms are intended for everyone who wants more luxury and pampering during their holiday. The rooms' magnificent two-way fireplaces, luxurious bathrooms, plush beds in a separate sleeping area, living room and many small details exude luxury.
Suites
The high-quality Suite hotel rooms (4) feature a living room, a natural stone fireplace, a separate bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. The suite's furnishings represent Nordic design at its best: a very high-quality double bed and sofa group, a writing desk and design chairs as well as lamps. Welcome to enjoy and relax!
Holiday Apartments
Eight cosy apartments are located in semi-detached houses on the slope leading down to Lake Äkäslompolo, about 200 metres from the main building of Ylläshumina. The apartment is well suited for up to five people.
